Are you worried about your financial security?

A young guy comes up to me and says, “I am worried about my financial security. Aren’t you?”

I say, “No, I am not”.

“Why not?”, he asks

Because I earn from what I love doing. I excel in what I do because I love doing it. They can fire me from my “job” but no one can fire me from my “work”.

That work which I was born to do.

You want to earn your living from your “work” not from your “job”. Then, excellence comes naturally and financial security won’t be so much of a concern.
